CULTURAL FESTIVALS

Department of Fashion Design conducted a programme on 19 th October 2022 at KMM College. This program was presented by 2nd year students of Fashion Design Department. All the teaching and non-teaching staff were invited for this program. Ms.Safna Mol M.S., HOD welcomed the guests. Prof. V.U.Noorudin (Principal) was the chief guest and delivered the speech. There were 70 participants including teachers. This program featured students’ detailed study about the lifestyle, arts and craft, culture, customs and costumes of the following states of India – West Bengal and Jammu Kashmir. Students prepared the power point presentation and set up an ambience that represented the geographical conditions of the states. Students also presented and performed the traditional dance forms, costumes, food, textiles and handicrafts, occupation etc. Students presented an outstanding performance and H.O.D congratulated them.
