FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Five Days Faculty Development program on “CYPTOCURRENCY, BLOCK CHAIN & CYBER SECURITY” was started on 12th September 2022.The first day session delivered by the speaker Dr. S Santhosh Kumar, Professor, School of management studies Cochin University of science and Technologies , about the topic “Fintech Innovations” was learning and interactive. During the session he briefly covered the topics blockchain, cryptocurrency, and Bitcoin. The next day session was about the topic “Non-fungible Tokens” by the speaker was learning, interactive and useful. On the third day, the resource person, Dr. Sudharson D Data Engineer/Assistant Professor, KSI-Forge, Kumaraguru College of Technology,Coimbatore, spoke briefly on Non fungible tokens, Asset tokenization and Metaverse. The resource person began the fourth day session with the introduction about Metaverse. He explained about the impact, AR/VR, Metaverse in Ecommerce and Tools. The objective of the session was to understand the basic models of block chain, to implement models of online ledger, to analyze the aspects of cybercrime instances, to investigate a case study for implementing block chain. The objectives of the fifth day session was about the topic Ecommerce based Machine learning was to learn the basics of machine learning, to understand cognitive and artificial intelligence, to implement machine learning algorithms in ecommerce.
