A group of students and teachers of PG Department of Commercewent for an oldage home visit to Govt.Oldage home ,Thevara,Ernakulam on Thursday, 6th October 2022 as apart of social outreach programme. The oldage home accommodates 23 women and 17 men,generally aged between sixty to ninety years. The purpose behind this visit was to help the senior citizens in all the possible ways the students and teachers could and to preserve the cultures, traditions and ethical values from one generation to another. The students conduct several games and entertainment programmes for them. We had an amazing time by singing songs and narrating jokes and stories from real lives. The college donated medical equipments like wheel chair, walkers, water beds, thermometer,vapouriser steamer etc. A lunch was served by students and teachers. The old residents expressed their gratitude towards us.
