SEMINAR ON GATEWAY TO FINANCIAL FREEDOM

An Orientation program on “Gateway to Financial Freedom – Foundation program in capital market” was organized by PG Department of Commerce at the seminar hall on Thursday, 16th March 2023 at KMM College of Arts & Science Thrikkakkara. The session was conducted by Commercium – An association of PG Department of Commerce in association with IQAC. The seminar began at 10am and Ms. Nandhana Navakumar, (student, KMM College) welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Shemi M. A., HoD Commerce had delivered the key note address about the seminar and its importance. The Chief resource person of the session was Ms. Steffy Praveen, Research Analyst cum faculty of Hedge school of applied economics. The session was really informative for the students to understand the practical aspects of Financial freedom and various aspects of saving and investment. The session delivered by the speaker was learning and interactive. The resource person spoke briefly on various investment avenued and hedging of risk through portfolio diversification. The workshop was conducted to enhance the knowledge about the practical aspects of trading securities over demat account to the entire participants. All the queries put up by students were answered to their full satisfaction. The program was successfully concluded with a formal vote of thanks. About 80 plus students participated in the program.
