WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATIONS

International Women’s Day was celebrated at KMM College of Arts and Science, Thrikkakara on 8th
March, 2023. At the same day we officially inaugrated the activities of the Women Cell for the year
2022-2023.On the auspicious occasion of International Women’s Day, the Women Cell organized a
special talk on’ The Widening Horizon of Woman’s Liberty – A Fact or Fiction. Management
representative Mrs Sabana Backer welcomed the gathering. Our respected Principal, Prof Noorudhin V
U gave the presidental address and honored the chief guest for her valuable presence. The chief guest
Dr S Devika Antherjanam, Rtd Principal, DB College, gave a motivational talk on role of women in the
changing social scenario.She addressed the students with her inspiring speech and made them aware on
how a woman can be self reliable in a society through their efforts and struggles. Women Cell Co
ordinator, Mrs Deepa V A proposed the vote of thanks.
