ENERGY MONITORING COMMITTEE

About

The Energy Monitoring committee of KMM College of Arts and Science, Thrikkakara, has been constituted with the purpose of monitoring energy sources in the college campus. The energy Monitoring committee of our institution promotes renewable energy resources, thereby avoiding depletion of fossil fuels and making earth more sustainable.

OBJECTIVES

• The committee pays attention to ensuring the effective use of energy sources in the college campus
• The Energy monitoring committee provides guidelines for Installing energy efficient lighting and appliances throughout the campus and building to reduce the amount of energy used. Priority needs to be given to energy efficient equipment during purchase.

FUNCTIONS

• The Energy monitoring committee conduct energy audit every year.
• Provides training for faculty and students about Energy Management, Energy Auditing etc.
• Energy Monitoring Committee has constituted in the institution to check the use of various energy sources available in the institution.
