JouLit ,the English Association fosters a love for literature and creative expression. It provides a platform for book discussions, poetry readings, writing workshops, seminars, and competitions, empowering students to cultivate their literary talents and communication skills.

It promotes lifelong learning, intellectual curiosity, and personal growth, creating a dynamic and supportive environment where students can flourish.

The Department aims to excel in academics by promoting literary appreciation, language skills, and critical thinking through teaching and research.

Mission

The Department uses innovative teaching methods and technology to build strong literary and language skills. To promote community growth, development, ethical values, and offer opportunities in various Thrust Areas like Interdisciplinary Studies, New literatures in English, etc.

Objectives

To organise Training Courses/Workshops for life skills, gender equality, Entrepreneurship Development, Career Opportunities and Competitive Exams for UG and PG students.
