1.Introduction/Need for the committee

Students are at the heart of what we do. In order to promote holistic development of students ,we plan to fit everything together including media platforms through a communicative framework.
Social media and technology are integral parts of daily life. Social media committee is started to highlight events and extra-curricular activities of students that can make our college stand out from rest.

Objectives

• Promote and represent the kind of environment our college aims to cultivate
• Make our institution’s mission and values known
• To show the value of your work
• To brand our institution and help the people get more familiar with it
• Get a direct connection with outside world.

Functions

• Each Department arrange one event during the simultaneous timing for events
• .Brochures,posters must have the full name of the college ,department name and event easily visible
• Online conduct by all departments through social media must abide by the college’s social and academic honour code
• All activities must be run through the overall club co-ordinator,faculty in charge and student coordinator
• The key focus is exchange of knowledge,experience and entertainment

Process

• Department wise students’ activity group
• Enrichment programmes
• Use Facebook page and college website to broadcast updates and alerts.
• Use YouTube and Facebook to stream webinars ,live lectures etc
• Include social media link on college website.
