Kmm College of Art’s and Science , Ncc Army Wing

National Cadet Corps is a youth organization comprising the Army,Navy,Airforce with its Headquarters at New Delhi, Delhi, India. Our college is having Army wing unit engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. NCC Unit in our college was started way back in 2022.NCC in KMM College is a newborn that is trying to spread her wings. Relying on the moto 'Unity and Discipline', NCC helps to nurture discipline, character, brotherhood, the spirit of adventure and comradeship among the cadets. It offers basic military training including weapon training, parades etc to the cadets . The Three year NCC training helps the students to become sincere and responsible human beings having an enthusiastic mind to serve the country. NCC motivates and provides immense opportunity for the youth to take up a career in Indian Armed Forces.
NCC takes initiatives of several outreach programs to express their social commitment. There are ample opportunities for its members to take part in camps such as ATC, RDC, BLC, ALC, mountaineering etc. Weightage for admission to higher studies will be given to those attending 95% NCC parades for two years. Grace marks at the rate of 2% will be given in the university examination to cadets.Attending 80% Basic Leadership Camp/Republic Day Parade. Members of the Corps are eligible to appear for certificate B and certificate C examinations. Those obtaining C and a university degree are eligible to appear before SSB for direct commission in the defense force without appearing for the UPSC examinations. Enrolment to NCC is open to both girls and boys . The NCC is in action to provide first aid and medical help in emergencies.
The NCC activities of the wings are being co ordinated by the Associate NCC officer.
