Intellectual Property Rights (Ipr) Cell

The Intellectual Property Rights Cell at KMM College is established to foster an innovation and focus the importance of generation of intellectual property and legal awareness by its teachers and students. The cell is committed to support and guide the students and staff in protecting the innovative and creative idea.

Objectives

• Promote awareness and understanding of IPR.
• To conduct seminar/workshop on intellectual property rights to create awareness among students.
• To educate the faculty on obtaining copyrights for their publications.
• To foster innovations leading to human progress and advancement.
• Mentor students and faculty startups, guiding them through protecting intellectual property and legal considerations.
• To encourage faculty members and scholars to go for patentable works.
• To create conductive ambience for the development of IPR.

Procedure

• ANNOUNCEMENTS IPR Coordinators should submit request to the principal for the approval of cell activities for the academic year.
• PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT The IPR plan for the academic year should be discussed with IPR Cell members and coordinators in association with IQAC.
• MEETINGS Meetings are organized and execute the programs as per on schedule and consider the suggestions given by members.
