RTI CELL

The Right to Information Act, 2005 (22 of 2005), enacted by the Parliament, has been in effect since June 15, 2005. This Act grants citizens the right to access information held by public authorities, with the goal of enhancing transparency and accountability in their operations. Universities and colleges established by laws enacted by Parliament or State Legislatures, or by notifications from the appropriate Government, as well as those owned, controlled, or substantially financed directly or indirectly by government funds, are considered public authorities under this Act.

The primary aim of the Right to Information Act is to empower citizens and enhance transparency and accountability in government operations. In alignment with these objectives, KMM College of Arts and Science has established an RTI Cell to facilitate students, citizens, and stakeholders in accessing information. The RTI Cell ensures the prompt and timely resolution of queries and grievances submitted by individuals or stakeholders. We are committed to providing the public with greater access to the information systematically maintained by our office.

The college complies with the Act enacted by the Parliament.
