The Department of Social Work of KMM College of Arts and Science conducted a Cleanliness Drive on 2 nd November 2024 at Kuzhuppilly Panchayat. The event aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness and its benefits to society, with active participation from all MSW students and faculty members. The program commenced at 10:30 AM, with the President of Kuzhuppilly Panchayat Mr. Nibin K S inaugurating the drive by cleaning the corners of the local open gym. Following his lead, faculty and students joined in to clean the area thoroughly. After the open gym was cleaned, the students proceeded to the surrounding area of the veterinary hospital, ensuring it was properly cleared and sanitized. The cleanliness drive concluded successfully at 4:00 PM. The initiative was not only an effective learning experience for the students but also contributed to the community’s well-being by promoting a cleaner, healthier environment.
