A Workshop on Research Methodology and Project Preparation for M.Com students was organized by the P.G Department of Commerce at MBA Seminar Hall on Thursday 16th November 2023. The event began at 10.00 AM. Ms Shemi M., A HOD of Commerce Department the gave the welcome address and formally introduced the resource person to the participants. The resource person highlighted the importance of research in the P. G curriculum and explained the various steps involved in the research process. The various modes of literature search, methods of probability and non- probability sampling and also the importance of choosing the appropriate statistical test for the purpose of data analysis are also explained in detail. The workshop was conducted to enhance the knowledge of the entire participants about the academic research and project preparation. All the queries put up by the students were answered to their full satisfaction. On behalf of P. G Department of Commerce, Ms Sindhu Shaji HOS of M. Com handed over the token of appreciation to the resource person. The program was successfully concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by Shakkira, a final year M.Com student and she also showered the gratifying words.
