On 12 th July 2024, Social Work Department, KMM College of Arts and Science organized an orientation session on “How to be a Professional Social Worker, in association with IQAC and Athma My Mind My Care. The participants of the orientation session were the students of Social Work department. The venue of the orientation session was the college seminar hall. The session started at 10.00 am with a welcome speech delivered by Mr. Basil K Varghese, Faculty coordinator of the program. The orientation session was led by Ms. Carolin Joseph, Chief Manager of Athma My Mind My Care. The main purpose of the orientation session was to provide students with an understanding of social work and to prepare them to become professional social workers. The students from each class shared their experiences about the session.The HOD of the department Mrs.Shemi.M.A presented a memento to the resource person. The vote of thanks was given by Amrutha Shibu, first year MSW student. The session concluded at 12.00 pm.
